The Right Word, not The Almost Right Word

  • Mark Twain inspires my speaking and writing: “The difference between the right word and the almost right word . . . is the difference between the lightning and the lightning bug.”
  • Words and the meaning of words are important. Communicating ideas using only the almost right words results in misunderstanding.
